Sra. Iris Moran
Mrs. Moran was born and raised in Puerto Rico. She moved to the U.S to further her education, and received her Bachelors Degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in Industrial and Operations Management. She worked for over a decade in the private sector.
After becoming a mother, her priorities and outlook in life completely changed. She left the private sector to become more involved with her family and volunteered as a Spanish teacher at her childrens’ school. Since then, she has taught at Harbor Christian Academy in Huntersville, Branch Christian Academy in Charlotte, Covenant Classical School in Concord and most recently she took over for Rebekah Sosa (who had to relocate) at Full Circle Academy. She considers it a blessing to teach from Pre-K to 12th grade students in classes as well as tutoring in Spanish
Her years of experience in the classroom and using different teaching methods and philosophies were valuable in creating an immersion style class for Full Circle Academy. Her goal for the students is for them to become fluent in Spanish, capable to read, write, comprehend and carry a conversation in Spanish. I plan for them to also become more aware and sensitive of the world around them and the richness of the Hispanic culture.
